OPEN AUDITION CALL - " A Christmas Carol" - Sunday, October 5, 2008 1:00 pm

The Academy Award-winning composer Michel Legrand has teamed with Sheldon Harnick, one of the theatre's most celebrated Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winning yricist, and the tale of Ebenezer Scrooge's prophetic Christmas Eve is reborn. From the pages of Dickens comes this scintillating musical adaptation of the Yuletide classic that continues to touch hearts and minds the world over. This universal story is ultimately one of family and conscience, of desperation and regret and second chances. We are calling all local actors to join us for a great experience and hoilday tradition. Get your voices warmed up and limbs limber, to dance and step into the spotlight. Auditions are open to anyone interested. They will begin at 1:00 pm on Sunday, with call backs on Monday, December 6,if needed. We would ask that you prepare 16 measures of a song that showcases your voice. Dress professionally yet comfortable to dance. If you have acted before please provide us with a resume and head shot. If you do not have a head shot we will take one of you here at the theatre the day of auditions. The auditions themselves will be closed. Participants will wait in the lobby until their opportunity to audition.
